Autumn/Winter 2026

With its subtle elements and strident silhouettes, the A/W26 “Proletcultism” collection indicates the process through which creation blooms effervescently from restrained expression. The socialist realism of Stalinist facture, named “Proletcultism”, ensured that art, culture and utterance were conditioned to portray the political ideals of the communist regime.

The baggy, overly round silhouettes pay homage to the common streetwear style of the ‘80s and to the practicality of the coats meant to keep warm during severe winters, refined here through an elegant, modern lens. The leather, a material which bred an intrinsic culture of workshops and craftsmen in the communist era, looks worn out, as though it had witnessed the horrors of the time it references. Other silhouette details are contrasting, with tight points, with a high collar covering the mouth and a hood covering the head, not piously, but to remind us of the obedience required during the regime.

The rose print is an emblem of soviet style, but it has been adapted to a modern version and developed through contemporary, industry-standard techniques and placed onto fabrics, such as net or nylon, which, on one hand, featured a distant version of themselves in the ‘80s.
